We are looking for a motivated SEO & AEO Intern who wants hands-on experience working on real client projects and learning how modern search is evolving from traditional SEO to AI Search, Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and identify high-value search opportunities.
• Analyse competitors, SERPs and competitor content strategies.
• Support on-page SEO optimisation including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs and internal linking.
• Assist with technical SEO audits and identify crawling, indexing and website issues.
• Research topics and prepare SEO-focused content briefs.
• Optimise content for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI search platforms.
• Identify search queries, questions, entities and topics for AEO/GEO optimisation.
• Support schema and structured data implementation.
• Monitor Google Search Console, Google Analytics and SEO performance.
• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions and conversions.
• Identify competitor content gaps and high-performing pages.
• Support content clusters, topical authority and internal linking strategies.
• Research opportunities for programmatic SEO.
• Maintain SEO trackers, audit reports and performance dashboards.
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI search developments and SEO best practices.

Requirements

• Strong interest in SEO, AEO, GEO and digital marketing.
• Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, search intent and SERPs.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Willingness to learn AI tools and emerging search technologies.
• Ability to execute tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with Ahrefs, Semrush or Screaming Frog.
• Basic HTML and schema knowledge.
• WordPress experience.
• Experience with ChatGPT, Claude or other AI tools.
• Previous SEO, content marketing or digital marketing project experience.
